Lucy Kaplansky

Lucy Kaplansky is the owner of one of the most unique voices among today's singer/songwriters. She can be heard singing harmony on CD's from John Gorka, Cliff Eberhardt, Shawn Colvin and many others. She is also an exceptional performer in her own right, as evidenced by her body of work below. Her CD "Every Single Day" would be an excellent introduction to her subtle songwriting and performance skills.

Cry Cry Cry is a "supergroup" consisting of three of the best of today's singer-songwriters: Dar Williams, Lucy Kaplansky and Richard Shindell. While they have only released one album to date, the success that they've had with it virtually guarantees that there will be other albums in their future. Let's hope it doesn't take too long!
