| Patty Griffin doesn't fit many of the singer-songwriter stereotypes. I can't play most of her music on "Messages" because her music varies so widely. She is, however, a phenominal talent, and you should own all of her albums. Her voice will cut you like a knife, and her songs will transport you to another world. Her third album, "Silver Bell", was originally set for a 9/12/00 release but currently is in limbo, as she left A & M records. The fourth album, "1000 Kisses", was on a different record label and did not contain all of the songs that were slated for the earlier release. |
